Veronica Saguier de Pereyra Iraola was born in 1970 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. At present she lives in Salta where she designs and executes landscape projects for private gardens and public spaces from all over the country. Her professional life started at the latest 90`s but her love for plants, nature and outdoors life goes back to her childhood of summers and winters spent in the countryside and a mother also garden designer. She began to work in 1998 in garden maintenance at “La Jardinera” Company in San Isidro, Buenos Aires province and in Pilar with her own maintenance enterprise, meanwhile studying courses about plantation, pruning, plant health, roses and fruit trees with the garden designer Mercedes Aguiló and at the Argentine Society of Horticulture (Sociedad Argentina de Horticultura) In 2004 she studied at the “Escuela de Diseño y Paisajismo Pampa Infinita”, local branch of the John Brookes School of Garden Design, from England, directed by Martina Barzi and Josefina Casares. She obtained the best grade of her class and later on she became professor at the Planting Design Department at that institution. Since then she went on improving her professional skills through workshops of design, photography, contemporary art and seminars of garden design. Activities that enhance her professional work and that are reflected in the design and project execution of gardens and public spaces.
